It may seem hard to remember at this point, but not long ago, football was a thing, and Liverpool were marching towards their first Premier League title.
Not only that, they were looking likely to secure that crown, they were also well on course to go the season unbeaten and match Arsenal’s Invincibles.
That was until they travelled to Watford at the end of February. The expectation was that the Reds would roll over the Hornets, who were in the middle of a relegation battle and in poor form.
Watford, however, had other ideas. They put in a stunning performance, beating Liverpool 3-0 in a display that has since been voted the Premier League moment of the Year.
Ignacio Pussetto was a part of that victory and says it was all down to them introducing yoga ahead of the game.
“It was extraordinary,” he told La Teja.
“We were not coming into the game in good form, having gone several games without a win, but we also knew that Liverpool were not in good form either.
“They had just lost in Madrid in the Champions League, and they couldn’t beat West Ham at home either so we tried to take advantage of that.
“It was the first time that happened to me; we had never done that here. It is true that the loads had also been high in that week.
“We had been fatigued, and it was decided to do that, some group stretching and nothing else. It helped us a lot; it gave results.”
Despite putting a poor performance on the day, with Watford outrunning and outgunning them for much of the game, Pussetto was still impressed by Jürgen Klopp’s side.
Chief among them was Virgil van Dijk, who, despite conceding three, Pussetto marked out as the player who caught his attention most.
In terms of players who surprised him, though, he reserved praise for the Reds current front three.
“The one that caught my attention due to his physique and presence is Van Dijk, he is a beast,” he added.
“You see it, and you say: “How can he play football with how big he is?” Then Salah, Mané and Firmino surprised me.
“They are players who are showing that they are at a great level, which led Liverpool to have their huge undefeated run.”
