According to SportDog.Gr, Watford are interested in signing Olympiacos midfielder Mady Camara ahead of the summer transfer window.

It’s reported the Premier League side have identified Camara as a possible replacement for Abdoulaye Doucoure, with the Watford player linked with a move away from the club.

SportDog report Watford are likely to sell the Frenchman for a fee believed to be in the region of €35m and they are looking to sign Camara as his possible successor at the end of the season.

Olympiacos are reportedly looking for at least €15m for Camara, and they say Pozzo owned Udinese are also interested in his services. Watford are said to be lining up a €10m offer for the Guinea international.

However, it’s claimed if no club meet their valuation of Camara then the Greek side are more than happy to keep the 22 year old for another season.

The youngster joined Olympiacos from AC Ajaccio last summer on a free transfer and he’s under contract with the club until June 2023.
