Watford forward Obbi Oulare has told the Belgian media he’ll sit down with the club’s leaders in the summer to discuss his future. The youngster is currently on loan with Dutch side Willem II after failing to make an impact at Watford.

Voetbal Nieuws have reported on comments Oulare made with regards to the last transfer window. The 21-year-old confirmed he was being chased by a number of clubs, but chose to join Willem II.

Oulare said he still has some years left on his contract with Watford, but feels he’ll have to discuss his future with the Premier League side at the end of the season.

“It is true several clubs were interested, but out of respect I will not mention their names. I think I made the right choice with Willem II. I have a four year contract with Watford. I assume that at the end of the season we’ll sit down with them at the table.”

Oulare spent the first half of the season in the Jupiler League with Zulte Waregem after failing to get regular football at Watford in the last campaign.

However, the striker was unable to replicate the form he showed whilst at Club Brugge, scoring only one goal in eleven appearances for the Belgian side.

The forward returned to Watford, but manager Walter Mazzarri always had intentions to send him back out on loan.
