Luis Suarez, the Watford owned striker, has been in high demand this summer. A very successful season on loan at Zaragoza has seen the player attract interest from several Spanish clubs, as well as sides in Italy.
At one point there was a claim Watford wanted to keep him for a season in the Championship, however, that isn’t what the player desired and it was likely a bargaining position.
On Saturday evening, the local Granada media pictured Suarez sat outside a restaurant in the city, making it clear that a move there was closing in.
AS now report the final fringes of the deal are being sorted out, and it can become official ‘in the coming hours’. The Colombian will be moving initially on a loan deal, with the La Liga side having a buying option.
The details of that option are still being discussed, but it’s not thought there’ll be any issues. When that is done it’ll be time for a medical, and then Suarez can concentrate on Granada’s objectives this season.
