Watford aren’t making it easy for Roberto Pereyra to leave the club this summer, according to claims from Italy today.
Newspaper Tuttosport claims that Walter Mazzarri is pretty keen on having the player again, as they’ve previously worked together at the Hornets.
The problem is that Giampaolo Pozzo is making big demands for the Argentine midfielder, as he believes this is a season the player could really stand out.
The Watford owner is said to be demanding at least €30m to start negotiating the sale of midfielder, who has a contract with the club running until 2021.
This amount is said to be too much for Torino, who are trying to find another way to get Pereyra at a cheaper price.
For now, their main alternative is for Pereyra himself to ask for the transfer. By doing this, they hope the player could convince Watford to get things done a cheaper price.
But we wonder if the Hornets would accept that.
