Playing most of his Ligue 2 football towards the end of last season, the advanced technical ability of Lens’ Mounir Chouiar has caught the eye of two Premier League clubs.

According to France Football, both Watford and Bournemouth are very keen on the 19-year-old forward, who made eight appearances, seven of which came from the bench, for the northern French club last season.

With just a year left on his contract, the youngster is apparently swimming in approaches, with both  the Hornets and the Cherries allegedly ‘working assiduously’ on trying to get something done.

However, it isn’t just the two Premier League sides who are after him, as France Football explain Lyon, who have a track record of helping young players grow and then selling them on, are also keen.

Their idea would be to bring the France U19 international in to then loan him out elsewhere, an avenue Bournemouth are also looking at, with the French magazine stating Eddie Howe and co. already planning on sending him to FC Zürich in Switzerland.

This isn’t anything we haven’t seen before from Premier League clubs, and we’ll have to wait and see who gets the last say here.
