French outlet Foot Mercato features a curious story this week, in which they introduce RKC Waalwijk defender Ahmed Touba to their readers.

The outlet points out the player has been doing pretty well in the Netherlands, and that should lead to his exit from his club in the summer, as a January departure was already blocked.

Two of the potential destinations are said to be in England, as Bournemouth and Watford are two of the sides who’ve been following him.

But that won’t be an easy task, as the likes of Lyon, Real Betis and Feyenoord are said to be interested in the 23-year-old as well.

There isn’t any information on how much Bournemouth or Watford would like to spend on his signing, or even how much Waalwijk would demand for his transfer.

Now the possibility of an auction is real, because besides all those clubs who already want him, Foot Mercato points out that other sides should also make approaches ‘in the coming weeks’.

The outlet is pretty certain that Touba is leaving Waalwijk at the end of the season, so Bournemouth and Watford better move quickly.
