Ignacio Pussetto will play for Sampdoria this season after Watford reached an agreement with the Italian side for a one-year loan deal.
That’s according to journalist César Luis Merlo, who says Watford ‘already have a total agreement’ for the player to depart once more.
Pussetto has returned to Watford this summer following a loan spell at sister club Udinese last season, where he was a regular, scoring six goals and registering four assists in 31 games in all competitions.
He’s not a part of Watford’s plans this season, though, and it appears he will instead be spending another year in Italy.
Merlo reports that Sampdoria have a complete agreement in place with Watford for a one-year loan deal although it remains to be seen whether an option to buy will be included in the deal.
At the moment the ‘most likely scenario’ is that is the two clubs will include one in the deal, but at the moment that has not been agreed.
Either way, it seem Pussetto will not be staying at Vicarage Road this summer and instead returning to Serie A.

*️⃣Ya hay acuerdo total con el Waltford para que sea cedido por un año. Resta definir si habrá o no opción de compra. Lo más factible es que coloquen una. #TratoHecho pic.twitter.com/zmBZQk6O9i— César Luis Merlo (@CLMerlo) September 1, 2022
