On December 2nd, Corriere Torino reported Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur ‘have long set their sights’ on Dejan Kulusevski.
The 21-year-old has struggled for game time under Massimiliano Allegri this season and Juventus are planning to cash in from his sale in the winter market.
Last month, the Sweden international admitted it would be best for him to change clubs, if the situation doesn’t improve at Juve. The Gunners could provide him an opportunity to leave the Old Lady in January.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio appeared as a guest on Calciomercato.it’s CMIT TV, where he discussed a few Serie A sides and their business.
When talking about the Turin club’s plans for the next window, Di Marzio mentioned the north London club’s interest in Kulusevski. ‘
He says ‘they want him’ and Mikel Arteta’s side have ‘met’ the attacking midfielder’s representatives. Kulusevski’s sale in January would improve Juve’s chances to sign Dušan Vlahović.
Di Marzio further adds Arsenal are also interested in the Fiorentina star. However, there’s been ‘no contacts’ with the striker’s representatives, who ‘did not even want to sit around the table’ with the Gunners.
