Earlier today we covered claims from Turkey which stated agents have offered Diogo Dalot to Fenerbahce on loan for next season.
As we explained, if that’s happened then the likelihood is it’s an intermediary with no connection to either Manchester United or their player, so someone chasing commission and trying anything for it.
That’s because Dalot returning to AC Milan is the likeliest track right now, and the Red Devils have set minimum conditions for a move, report Calciomercato. Whilst Milan would want a loan with an option to make the deal permanent next summer, Manchester United would want the clause to be an obligation and ask for ‘no less’ than €18m.
Therefore, it’s quite clear they’re not offering the 22-year-old to Fenerbahce on a simple loan basis.
Calciomercato explain Dalot and Milan are ‘waiting’, and it increasingly feels like this is a transfer which will have to wait for the second half of the summer window. Meetings are ‘in sight’ between Manchester United and the Serie A club, yet there’s a ‘stalemate’ situation over the structure of the deal.
To boil it all down, AC Milan want Dalot back but don’t want to commit to signing him permanently yet, Manchester United will consider an exit yet want some commitment, and this will all have to be sorted out in negotiations.
