Napoli have offered Kevin de Bruyne €8m per season for two years, plus the option of a third, as they look to win the race for him after he leaves Manchester City.
That’s according to journalist Gianluca Vitale, who provides the details on Napoli’s current offer to the Manchester City icon.
Napoli are firmly in the race for De Bruyne at this moment in time as he gears up to leave Manchester City at the end of the season.
The Belgian has offers from all around the world and Napoli are making moves to win that race, according to Vitale.
He reports that they have offered the Manchester City star €8m per year over two years. That deal would also include the option of another year. The Italian side have gone from offering €7m before getting closer to €9m with bonuses.
It’s a reduction from the €13.5m net he earns at Manchester City now, but over two years he would end up earning more spread over more seasons according to the journalist.
It’s a strong opening gambit from the Italian side, who it seems aren’t concerned putting their money where their mouth is to get De Bruyne from Manchester City this summer.
