The Belgian media continues to report Manchester City’s efforts to sign Anderlecht youngster Roméo Lavia.

On Wednesday, we covered a report from Het Laatste Nieuws where they already said that ‘everything indicates’ the 16-year-old is joining the Premier League side.

Now as the website brings an update on other players today, they say it’s ‘certain’ that Lavia has chosen to move to Manchester City, and should sign a deal with the club soon.

They say it’s ‘impressive’ because both Anderlecht and manager Vincent Kompany have advised the teenager to stay at the Belgian side, but that wasn’t enough to stop him from making that decision.

Meanwhile, Anderlecht have other business to deal with Manchester City. The same story claims that the club will ask for the extension of Philippe Sandler’s loan.

The 23-year-old defender, who has a contract with Manchester City until 2022, has made 11 appearances for Anderlecht this season, and his spell expires this summer.
