The European media clearly like their specifics when it comes to signing players. In Italy it’s normal for journalists to camp out at the airport and wait to snap incoming transfers.
Sampdoria’s local media last night reported Ronaldo Vieira arrived at Genoa’s Cristoforo Colombo airport at 22.45, and have the images to prove it.
Over in the Canary Islands, it’s Hadi Sacko’s plane that has been watched on Tuesday morning.
It was reported on Monday that a loan deal has been agreed for the Leeds United player, with good relations between the two clubs seen as key in getting the deal done.
Planning for the friendly that was played last weekend led to contacts being built and somewhere along the way it seems Sacko was offered.
Canarias7 say Sacko flew out from Manchester airport at 9.55am this morning, and will be presented at 4.30pm at Las Palmas’ offices.
Las Palmas already have an image of the player arriving, so it must have been a quick flight.
Now he just need to pass his medical.
Hadi Sacko ya está en Gran Canaria.
