South American journalist Cesar Luis Merlo today features some news on the future of Hull City striker Oscar Estupiñan.
On Twitter, he reports that ‘various clubs’ in Spain have been showing their interest in the Tigers’ player.
Granada and Real Valladolid are two of the clubs who want the Hull City striker, but it’s not yet said whether they have made official attempts to get him so far.
It’s said Estupiñan could leave the Championship side on a loan with an option or an obligation for a purchase, although there’s apparently no price set for that.
The centre-forward has a contract with Hull running until 2025, and is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €5m.
He arrived at Hull City on a free move from Vitória Guimarães last summer, and in his first season at the club, scored 13 championship goals. This season, he has one goal in four appearances so far, and is mostly being used in the final minutes of games.
That’s a situation which should encourage him to leave, although the departure will likely depend on how good the offers end up being.
