Aaron Ramsey is unlikely to stay at Rangers F.C. beyond the end of this season, having failed to impress since his arrival from Juventus in January.

That’s according to Calciomercato.it, who say Juventus fans don’t want the midfielder back from his loan spell in Scotland either.

Ramsey’s move to Ibrox was one of the higher-profile transfers during the January transfer window, with the midfielder joining Rangers on loan until the end of the season and turning down Premier League offers to do so.

He had hoped to find some continuity with Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side, but that has not happened for him as yet.

At the minute, he remains out of the picture and Calciomercato state that it ‘seems inevitable’ that Rangers won’t take up their option to make his loan deal a permanent one.

That’s something Juventus are despairing about, with their work in getting rid of the likes of Ramsey and bringing in better players for Maximiliano Allegri currently being highly lauded.

Ramsey doesn’t fit in, and the club’s fans are ‘already in turmoil’ about the prospect of him returning from his spell in Scotland.

His departure was met with ‘great enthusiasm’ by everyone involved, and Juventus’ hope had been that the midfielder would be able to ‘convince’ Rangers into buying him.

Unfortunately, their plans ‘are breaking against reality’, and it seems Van Bronckhorst and co have no intention of making the Welshman’s temporary stay at Ibrox a permanent one.
