Rangers FC have the option to turn Malik Tillman’s loan deal into a permanent one for €7m this summer.
That’s according to SportBILD journalist Christian Falk, who has provided the previously unknown value of the clause today.
Tillman joined Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window back in July, with the German giants electing to send him out to gain regular playing time in Scotland.
Reports at the time indicated that the deal included an option for Rangers to make the move a permanent one next summer should they wish.
The value of that clause wasn’t mentioned but Falk now says it is set at a more than affordable €7m.
Whether Rangers activate that remains to be seen but Tillman has been a regular for them since his arrival, with two goals and an assist in his ten appearances so far.
If he continues to be in the team throughout the remainder of the season, it’s easy to imagine they’ll be more than happy to pay that figure and bring the forward to Ibrox permanently.
