On Wednesday evening, TMW are reporting Arsenal interest in Francisco Trincao.
A 19 year old forward, the left footer can play anywhere across the front three.
He’s owned by SC Braga in Portugal, who have him on a contract until June 2023, after an extension was signed in July of last year.
TMW say Juventus are also keen on the player, and he’s ‘ended up in Arsenal’s sights’. According to the claims, the Gunners may soon ‘make an approach’ to sign the player, having watched him a couple of times recently.
Interestingly, earlier today we covered a report from Portugal which revealed the Premier League club had a scout watch Braga against Aves in the Portuguese cup on Tuesday evening.
Braga won the match 2-1 but Trincao didn’t play, and wasn’t even on the bench.
He has around 30 minutes for the first team this season, spread over two appearances, and has been mainly playing for the second string.
Perhaps TMW have added 2+2 and come to a figure other than four, but it’s clear the youngster wouldn’t be expensive.
