There are now multiple Spanish reports about Dani Ceballos wanting to leave Arsenal.
Leaving Real Madrid on loan for the Gunners in the summer, the midfielder thought he’d get regular playing time in the Premier League. He had one eye focused on Euro 2020 and making the Spain squad, and to do that he needed to impress on the pitch.
That hasn’t been the case, and Ceballos doesn’t seem to be a player Mikel Arteta will be relying on for the second half of the season.
Marca report the player is trying to terminate his loan agreement with Arsenal, and it’s stated the club won’t stand in his way.
Fortunately for Ceballos there’s interest from elsewhere, with Marca saying Valencia have already moved to try and find a deal. AC Milan are also presented as interested, but it’s thought the Spaniard would prefer a return to his own country.
Now it’s now to Real Madrid and their player to find a solution, with Valencia looking a pretty good option.
