It would appear the Turkish media were entirely correct with their claims earlier this week that Souleymane Doukara was on the verge of a move to Osmanlıspor.

A couple of days ago Fanatik reported the Turkish side were ‘in final stages of negotiations’ with Leeds United for the striker, and a transfer ‘will be announced shortly’.

Since then things have gone somewhat quiet, but it was noteworthy when Doukara was left out of Leeds United’s selection face Newport County on Tuesday evening. With Leeds fielding several fringe players, the evening was perfect for Doukara.

The no-show made a transfer seem even closer.

Now images have come from Turkey of Doukara in an Osmanlıspor top, giving the thumbs up, as it’s claimed he’s signed a 2 year deal with the Turkish club.

Miliyet and several others outlets in Turkey are all carrying the news, and it’s pretty clear this Leeds United transfer is done.
