Manchester United seem quite happy with Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Signed in a huge deal from Crystal Palace, after a transfer tussle which went on for over a month, the defender hasn’t let Ole Gunnar Solskjaer down. At times there’s been worry about his contribution in attack, yet at 23-year-of-age there’s plenty of opportunity for that to improve, and it doesn’t negate his work in defence.
Over the weekend, The Daily Telegraph linked Manchester United with a move for Kieran Trippier, and this claim has quickly made its way to Spain.
Currently top of La Liga, Atletico Madrid have used the former Tottenham player in every one of their league matches so far. Indeed, he’s played every minute of those matches and managed to add four assists along the way.
When it comes to covering the claimed interest from Manchester United, Mundo Deportivo move to dismiss the idea of a transfer. They say Trippier is ‘untouchable’ for Atletico, and explain that he left Spurs because he wanted an experience overseas.
With that going very well so far this season, it wouldn’t make a great deal of sense to leave, and that’s even if Manchester United interest is genuine.
