Arsenal are no longer just Arsenal for the Spanish sport media, they’re ‘Unai Emery’s Arsenal’ and therefore most transfer claims go through him.

When the club were repeatedly linked to Lucas Vazquez in Spain, it was made very clear the idea had come from Emery, and the same can be said of the few Dani Ceballos reports.

Now the same is happening with Dani Alves.

AS speak of interest in the player and say Emery has ‘asked the management’ at Arsenal to ‘send an offer’ for the player.

Alves is a free agent, so any offer would be related to wages, signing on fee, and the length of a potential contract.

At 36 years of age, it’s likely interested parties would prefer to give the Brazilian a single season deal.

Despite his age, Alves has responded to leaving PSG in the best possible way. Helping Brazil to win the Copa America, he was then named the best player in the tournament.
