Manchester City have found an agreement with Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to France Football.

The outlet says that club and player reached a deal regarding personal terms, and now a fee must be discussed with the Serie A side.

It’s claimed that Manchester City are still to make an official bid for the 29-year-old, and his future remains in the hands of president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

Koulibaly would ‘double his wages’ at the Premier League side. Still, France Football says he’ll not force his way out of Napoli, since he isn’t unhappy at the club. So it’s all up to the Italian club’s wish of selling him.

The report claims that Manchester City have been interested in the defender for a long time, but the fee for his transfer has always been a problem, as €80m wasn’t enough last summer.

They say that Txiki Begiristain has recently been in negotiations for the signing, and he’s the one responsible for the personal agreement.

Over in Italy it’s been reported City have already offered €63m, which has been rejected by Napoli.
