It’s all going crazy over at Crystal Palace regarding Ibrahim Amadou, and the French and English media are having a battle about who can provide the most accurate information.
We’ll start with the local media, as FootMercato report the Eagles have decided to try to sign the Lille midfielder once again, this time offering a £1m up front for a loan deal with an obligation to buy of £15m that will only be triggered if the London club avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Over at Sky Sports, the information is a £2m loan up front with an obligation to buy at £14m (with no mention of the ‘avoid relegation’ clause), which Lille are said to be considering.
Some might say there’s a few people at Crystal Palace trying to tell the media that business at Selhurst Park is far from over, and we’ll have to see which one ends up reporting the correct amount.
Either way, Roy Hodgson wants Amadou, and the club are clearly doing their best to please their manager.
