Juventus and Chelsea have officially started negotiating for Daniele Rugani and Gonzalo Higuain, according to Calcio Mercato.
Fali Ramadani helped the Blues bring Maurizio Sarri to Stamford Bridge. He has now been appointed as a broker to deal with transfers in Italy.
Ramadani has held talks with Juventus director of sports Fabio Paratici to discuss Rugani and Higuain.
The Italian website caught Ramadani outside a well known restaurant in Milan. He refused to comment on the recent reports linking the two players to Chelsea.
Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla has also mentioned about the talks between Ramadani and Paratici. The former has been in close contact with Juventus and even met Rugani’s agent Davide Torchia at a hotel in Milan.
Alfredo Pedulla’s report focuses mainly on 23 year old Rugani. It’s claimed the Italian international is set to leave Juventus and move to Chelsea for a fee of £45m. The centre-back will sign a five-year deal and is set to earn £4m-a-year at Stamford Bridge.
After Rugani’s deal, Ramadani will shift his focus towards the former Real Madrid striker. The second report claims it will be ‘hot days’ for Chelsea in the transfer market as Sarri looks to strengthen the squad for the new season.
This all sounds like a lot, but it’s not really anything new in that the Italian media have been reporting for a couple of weeks that Rugani is pretty much agreed and Higuain will possibly follow.
