Having won Serie A this season they want to make sure they remain on top, and also please manager Antonio Conte, who is always in relentless pursuit of improvements to his squad.
Several players, such as Ashley Young and Ivan Perisic, can leave, and whilst Inter are looking within Italy for replacements, there’s also the possibility of signing someone from elsewhere.
Such a claim would suggest the two don’t feel they have much of a future under Tuchel at Chelsea.
