Southampton’s Mohamed Elyounoussi saw his first team appearances limited after Ralph Hassenhüttl took charge at St Mary’s Stadium in December 2018.

On August 7th, reports from Norway suggested the 25-year-old’s agent is in talks with Besiktas, Sevilla and Celta Vigo.

Speaking to TV2, the Saints manager also stressed the need to “find a solution” for the winger if he is unhappy to be a squad player at the South Coast club.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Norway international is drawing attention from the Serie A as Genoa and Atalanta have set their sights on the player. The two Italian clubs have asked for Elyounoussi’s information.

It’s claimed that Southampton will demand €14m for Elyounoussi, meaning they are open to the idea of a selling him.

Apart from stating that Genoa and Atalanta have taken information about the attacker, TMW’s report does not provide any other additional details.

Elyounoussi still has four years left on his contract, but his future could be away from the Premier League side, with Besiktas also heavily linked in his services.
