Haber Kartali report Everton have made two differing offers to sign Besiktas defender Domogaj Vida and the Turkish club are now looking at these
Everton have been linked with a move for the Croatian international in recent weeks.
According to Haber Kartali, who are Besiktas specialists, Everton’s first offer was Davy Klaassen on a loan deal plus €10m for the Croatian and the second offer is €15m.
Similar reports have been circulating in the Turkish press in recent days, but details with regards to Klaassen heading to Istanbul have now been disclosed, and it makes much more sense than a permanent deal.
It’s also claimed the Besiktas board want Everton to cover some of Klaassen’s wages if he’s loaned to the Turkish club.
Talks between the two sides are set to continue in the near future and Besiktas are hoping Croatia’s run in the World Cup continues so they can get a higher price for Vida.
The player only joined Besiktas in the last window on a free transfer.
