Turkish website Fotospor report Fenerbahce are interested in signing Bristol City’s winger Niclas Eliasson.
The Swedish winger has been in impressive form with his performances in the Championship this season, and Fotospor report Fenerbahce are keen to sign him.
It’s reported recently installed Fenerbahce sporting director Emre Belozoglu and the club’s head of football operations Selahattin Baki, who worked at Sheffield United in the past, are holding talks with the player’s agent Hasan Cetinkaya about a potential move.
Belozoglu and Baki have outlined Fenerbahce’s plans to the 24 year old but Fotospor report his contract situation with Bristol City is making things difficult.
His contract with the Championship side was due to expire this season, but Bristol City have exercised the option on his contract, and he’ll be staying at the club for the next campaign.
Eliasson has made 37 appearances for Bristol City in the Championship this season, scoring three goals and providing twelve assists.
