Aksam report Besiktas manager Senol Gunes has urged his club’s board to sign Florian Jozefzoon from Brentford.

The 27 year old has also been linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion in recent days in the English press and the interest is now being reported in Turkey, due to Besiktas’ pursuit of the player.

This summer Besiktas are in the market for a winger who can provide cover for Ricardo Quaresma or Ryan Babel, and the Brentford player seems to be an option.

Aksam say the Turkish club have identified Jozefzoon as a target and are looking to pay €1.5m.

However, the Turkish giants should expect to face competition from West Brom say Aksam. The Baggies will be looking to rebuild their squad in this window as they work to return to the Premier League.

It’s reported Brentford are keen to keep hold of the player, but with Besiktas and West Brom showing an interest they may find this difficult.
