According to Transfer Merkezi, Turkish Super Lig club Erzurumspor are in talks with Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths over a potential transfer.
It’s reported that the Turkish club have been in discussions with Griffiths’ representatives over a potential move as they look to strengthen their team ahead of their first season in the Turkish Super Lig.
Scottish giants Celtic recently made former PSG striker Odsonne Eduoard’s move permanent and that could give an advantage to Erzurumspor over a potential transfer for Griffiths. Brendan Rodgers’ also has star forward Mousa Dembele at his disposal.
The Turkish club have already brought in a number of players this summer as they look for a strong season in their top-flight debut.
The 27 year old played 39 games for Celtic in all competitions last season and scored 13 goals for the Scottish Premiership champions.
Griffiths is under contract at Celtic until 2021 and has been with the Glasgow club since 2014 after signing from Wolves.
