It’s no secret that Chelsea are looking at a new striker and reports in England have stated the Blues have identified Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland as one of their targets.

Claims made in the British press have reached Germany and Bild state ‘the fact is that alongside Real Madrid and Manchester City’, the Blues are one of the clubs the Norway international can ‘imagine’ making a switch to in the future.

Thomas Tuchel is a big fan of the striker and ‘wants Haaland immediately’.

Despite interest from Chelsea, a summer transfer is ‘considered extremely unlikely’ as the German club have no plans to sell the player.

With rumours of Chelsea’s desire to invest big on Haaland, Bild questions whether the German club can turn down an ‘immoral offer’ this summer, should they receive one.

Bild also got in touch with Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc for a response to the recent reports linking Haaland to other clubs.

Zorc said: “Nothing has changed. We are planning with Erling for the new season!”

Zorc’s latest comments reiterate Borussia Dortmund’s desire to retain Haaland next season and suitors will have to wait at least one more year before they make an approach for the attacker.

Haaland’s asking price will drop to €75m in 2022 and the report states BVB will hardly be able to keep their prized asset next year.
