Denizlispor manager Yucel İldiz has spoken to TRT Spor and confirmed the Turkish club are looking to sign Hadi Sacko from Leeds United.

This week reports emerged from the Turkish media that Denizlispor are looking to bring in Sacko this summer. During the second half of last season the Leeds United attacker was loaned out to Super Lig side Ankaragucu, and he impressed with his performances.

Speaking to TRT Spor, via Denizlispor Supporters Club, İldiz said they are interested in Sacko: “It’s true that we’re interested in signing Sacko. But of course, we need an official announcement, I can’t say we signed him, we need to wait for an announcement from the club.”

Additionally, Ajansspor claim the Turkish club have signed Sacko but there is currently no indication whether this is a loan or a permanent transfer.

However, given his current contract situation with Leeds United it’s likely they will look to offload him permanently in this window.

The 25 year old forward played 15 games for Ankaragucu last season and scored three goals. He is under contract with the Elland Road club until June 2020.
