Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski is still facing an uncertain future at the Serie A club.
Liverpool, AC Milan, and Napoli are interested in signing Zielinski, and repeated reports suggest the player is keen on playing under Jurgen Klopp. There has been claims Liverpool have agreed personal terms with the player, but are having a tough time negotiating a fee with Udinese.
There are also suggestions Liverpool haven’t even made an offer for the player yet, and everything appears to be in a mess.
His agent Bartolomej Bolek has been speaking to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport on the latest developments.
He said: “We know that Udinese have received many offers for Zielinski. We’re talking to Pozzo (the club’s owner) and the clubs concerned.”
Bolek was asked to confirm Liverpool’s interest in the Polish midfielder, to which he replied: “It’s true, but I do not like to talk about the negotiations to the newspapers.”
He was also asked if the player prefers a particular club out of AC Milan, Napoli, and Liverpool.
He added: “We’ve already made our choice, but it’s a secret.”
Bolek confirmed Zielinski is expected to return to Udinese on July 22 for pre-season training, so there is a chance his future could be sorted out before that.
