Fanatik report Trabzonspor will activate their right of redemption with Leeds United’s Caleb Ekuban in the coming days.

It’s claimed the Turkish club will look to keep both of their current first choice forwards, with reports they’ve also offered a new contract to Hugo Rodallega.

With regards to Ekuban, the Turkish newspaper say Trabzonspor are already in talks with Leeds United and those discussions are going very well at the moment.

According to Fanatik, Trabzonspor are ready to use the €1m redemption clause to make his move permanent.

Since joining from Leeds United on loan last summer, Ekuban has been in impressive for Trabzonspor and has established himself as a key player in Unal Karaman’s young side.

This is in contrast to his debut season in England when he scored just one goal for the Championship club.

The 25 year old got his first call up to the Ghana national team in March and looks set to be involved in the AFCON this summer.
