Juan Foyth is set to become a PSG player, explain L’Equipe, at least if Javier Pastore is correct.
Linked with a move to Tottenham for a couple of weeks, Tuesday evening saw claims come from Argentina that PSG had swooped in and agreed a deal for the young central defender.
The claims of an agreed deal were then rowed back on a little, giving Tottenham some chance of still achieving the transfer themselves, but Pastore is convinced Foyth is signing for PSG.
L’Equipe say Pastore had ‘a busy day yesterday’ going around his teammates and telling them to expect Foyth as a new teammate, and, if the PSG player is to be believed, L’Equipe say ‘the transfer should soon be finalised’.
From their own information, L’Equipe don’t sound completely convinced, and the same can be said for Le Parisien, so that would give hope to Tottenham that they’re still in the race and have a chance of signing Foyth.
Maybe a good offer, with the payment upfront rather than spread over the next however many years, would be a good idea.
