Over the past few days, Manchester United have been credited with an interest in signing Paul Dybala, and it’s suggested he will not oppose a move away from Juventus this summer if he’s set to drop in importance.

On July 24th, Tuttosport reported Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ‘wants’ the forward and the Red Devils are ‘trying to please’ their manager by making an effort to sign the 25-year-old.

A day later, the same newspaper reported the 20-time English champions are in ‘pole position’ to sign the ex-Palermo man.

Saturday’s edition of Tuttosport claims the ‘latest idea comes from Old Trafford’ and this involves Romelu Lukaku, who is also a transfer target for Inter.

According to Tutto’s English sources (not claims made by the British media), Manchester United and Juventus have ‘inserted’ themselves between Antonio Conte and his dream of signing the Belgian.

Solskjaer’s side have ‘proposed’ a big transfer idea to Juventus, which involves a swap deal between Lukaku and Dybala.

Should the deal involving two players take place, it could potentially excite the fans of the Premier League club. At the same time, it will still not solve the problem at Juventus.

The Old Lady are trying to offload two attacking players and the list includes Dybala, Gonzalo Higuain, Mario Madzukic and Moise Kean.

Kean is heading towards the exit door and a swap deal involving and Dybala and Lukaku will still leave Maurizio Sarri with an additional attacking player.

Though Juve don’t completely reject the idea, they are also looking at other options for Dybala, which would see a straight transfer. Talks between the two clubs for the player continues.

Manchester United will also have to keep an eye on PSG as their sporting director, Leonardo has established contacts with Dybala’s entourage.

He will return to Italy next midweek and will then discuss his future with the Juventus leaders.

To make it very clear, Tuttosport say this idea has been proposed by Manchester United, not Juventus.
