Arsenal are not open to the idea of loaning out defender Jakub Kiwior in the January transfer window, but that could change in the next two months.
That’s according to Tuttomercatoweb, who say that AC Milan will have to wait for Arsenal to change their stance if they want to get their man.
Reports this week have linked Milan with a move for the Gunners youngster, who has barely featured for them since arriving in the January transfer window earlier this year.
He’s played a bit-part role under Mikel Arteta since and that’s led to claims he could be allowed to leave temporarily so as to avoid halting his development.
AC Milan are believed to be keen on him, but TMW insist that Arsenal are not interested in any kind of deal at this point.
While they’re yet to decide on whether to sell in January but know if they were to do so, they would need to find a replacement and that would not be an easy prospect.
Thus, they are not leaning towards sanctioning it at this point, believing it would be wiser to leave him in the squad as the alternative to Gabriel Magalhaes.
There has been contact with Milan in the last few hours about a potential transfer, but it is very much as case of a ‘possibility’ being examined by the Italian side and was not ‘endorsed’ by the Premier League side.
That could change in the coming weeks, but it will be dependent on how Mikel Arteta uses the player in the busiest period in the calendar over the winter period.
