The story about Alex Telles’ move to Chelsea is probably one of the oldest transfer rumours we have in the current market.
And even though it seemed like this saga would come to an end with the left back’s move to Paris Saint Germain this summer, the Blues are now back being an option for him.
It’s newspaper Record who has a piece on the situation today. They report that the French side may give up on Alex Telles, because they’re offering Layvin Kurzawa a new contract at the club.
So they point out that PSG isn’t the only option the player has, since Chelsea remain interested in his signing, and are a ‘strong possibility for his future’.
Record writes that Chelsea are ‘especially active’ in the transfer window, and continue to see the Brazilian as a ‘good option’ for the left-back position.
It’s once again claimed that Ben Chilwell could be too expensive in the summer window, and that’s why Telles shows up as an alternative.
The Brazilian is protected by a release clause of €40m, although he likely leave for less, given he only has a year of contract left.
