Being a goal machine in the past three seasons, it’s inevitable for Harry Kane to be constantly linked to big European clubs.
Since his first full season with Tottenham Hotspur, the English striker has reportedly attracted interest from several sides, with one of them being Real Madrid.
Now with 11 goals in only nine appearances this season, we wouldn’t expect things to change, so despite being only one month since the end of the transfer window, the rumours are back already.
Eduardo Inda was present at TV show El Chiringuito this Monday, and claimed that Real Madrid have recently made contact with Tottenham Hotspur for the 24-year-old.
El Chiringuito is never the best source for transfer news in Spain, but since the journalist has an interesting background, but the rumours are often laundered into something more serious.
Inda claims that Madrid asked for Kane’s price, and Tottenham told them that he’s only leaving for €200m (via El Bernabeu).
That’s vaguely believable. The figure is seen as colossal in Spain, and Daniel Levy would likely go for such a level, maybe even higher, however, the source brings everything crashing down.
El Chiringuito is firmly in the Spanish bracket containing Punto Pelota and Don Balon.
