Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Inter Milan on Wednesday night was pretty crucial for their campaign in the Champions League, as the London side now only depend on themselves to qualify for the knock-out stage.

But it will still be tough for Maurício Pochettino’s side to advance, as their last game in the group stage is against Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

Brazilian winger Lucas Moura has spoken to his home country’s press after the win against Inter, and talked about the Spurs’ preparations to face Barça in the Catalan capital.

Asked if Tottenham can beat Barcelona at the Camp Nou, Lucas told Esporte Interativo: “I think so. I don’t think there are unbeatable teams, despite being one of the best teams in the world, we are talking about Barcelona, especially playing at the Camp Nou. But I don’t think there is an unbeatable team.

“The game has 90 minutes, we will do everything, prepare well to achieve this qualification. And if it comes, it will have a special taste for the difficulty. Let’s fight, let’s believe until the end.”

Then Esporte Interativo’s reporter mentioned that to win Barcelona, Tottenham also have the challenge of stopping Lionel Messi. But Lucas claims that it’s still pretty possible.

“Undoubtedly one of the best players in the world. We have to put together a strategy to nullify him and get to play. I think we managed to play a good game against Barcelona in the first round.

“We were able to play as much as possible with great chances. And why not make a big game there and get the win. Try to nullify Messi, it’s difficult, but it’s possible, we will fight.”
