We might as well be doing a live blog at this stage when it comes to the transfers of both Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Clinton N’Jié to and from Tottenham.
While the former has been ‘on the verge’ for about two weeks, the latter has seemingly been the hold up in the deal being announced.
With whispers the Nkoudou deal might not happen altogether, news that Clinton N’Jié’s negotiations have also hit a stumbling block shouldn’t be a surprise.
According to RMC Sport’s Mohamed Bouhafsi on Twitter, there have been ‘a few difficulties’ in last minute negotiations, but not because of Marseille.
No, according to the French journalist, it’s down Tottenham’s end, the board especially, who are causing a fuss.
@LeJournalOM Difficultés dans les négos de dernières minutes à cause des dirigeants de Tottenham. N’Jie lui est ok donc toujours en négos.

As for the player, he’s still up for the loan and is still negotiating his personal terms.
Could Tottenham be unhappy at something in the Nkoudou deal, hence making things difficult for Marseille regarding Clinton N’Jié? Daniel Levy and co are well known for being very tough when it comes to the final negotiations.
We’ll have to wait and see.
