Tottenham links with Joachim Andersen continue to build in the Italian media.
The Premier League club have been linked with the defender for some months, and over the past week the claims have risen.
Spurs were set to send someone to watch the 22 year old in action this weekend, and there was a meeting last week to establish a price for a summer transfer.
A Sampdoria official travelled to London to try and reach an ‘agreement in principle’ on a summer transfer amount. Therefore, if the player then wants to move it’s thought it will be easier to complete a transfer.
The price was set at €25m, an amount very much reachable for Spurs and one which seems surprisingly reasonable in the current market.
This weekend Gazzetta dello Sport have again pushed Tottenham links, saying the club’s interest in signing the player is ‘very strong’.
Manchester United also get a mention, but it’s stated their interest was built under Jose Mourinho.
Inter Milan and Juventus are said to be keen, and Andersen’s future is going to be largely down to himself given the reasonable price.
