Back in September, we relayed news that Tottenham Hotspur have been closely following Club Brugge star Andreas Skov Olsen.
The Denmark international continues to be on the Premier League side’s radar, if a report coming out of Belgium is to be believed.
Het Nieuwsblad state Tottenham sent their scouts to Qatar to watch the 22-year-old [and other potential targets] live in action for his country at the World Cup.
It’s said the north London club’s interest in the 22-year-old is ‘already concrete’. Despite this, the report states there is no question of a first bid from Antonio Conte’s side for the Dane.
The Belgian champions invested around €7m when signing the winger from Bologna. He was vital in their title triumph, scoring six goals and adding nine assists in the second half of last season.
Olsen has extended his fine form for Club Brugge into this campaign, scoring eight goals and registering four assists from 21 matches. His deal lasts until 2026 and Tottenham, who have a concrete interest in the attacker, must invest big to secure the Dane’s services.
