There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Galatasaray will sell their star attacker Barış Alper Yılmaz if the right offer comes in.
In the past week Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the Turkey international following reports they’d sent scouts to watch him at Euro 2024.
We covered statements that Spurs, along with Manchester United, were in attendance when Turkey took on the Czech Republic last week. Alper Yılmaz was one of the standout players during his country’s 2-1 victory.
Tottenham were also monitoring the player throughout last season after we covered reports from Turkey in May. At the time it was reported he could be sold for €20m, but his performances at the Euros look to have increased his value.
He started 28 Super Lig games last season, scoring seven goals. Yılmaz is contracted to Galatasaray until June 2027.
