Following the recent injuries of Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison and West Ham United midfielder Lucas Paquetá, it was clear the Brazilian national team had some concerns regarding their situation prior to the World Cup.

That’s why it was soon reported that doctor Rodrigo Lasmar and Tite’s assistant Cesar Sampaio would be travelling to England and have a meeting with clubs and players to get more information on their situation.

ESPN now comes up with an update, saying the duo visited Tottenham and West Ham this week, and in both cases, the players are said to be doing their recovery just fine, and should be in no risk for the trip to Qatar.

On Richarlison’s case, it’s said Spurs’ squad was having a day off, and while the Brazilian did his specific training, he had more time to speak to Lasmar and Sampaio.

Paquetá, meanwhile, was training at the gym while the Hammers’ squad was working on the pitch.

According to ESPN, while Rodrigo Lasmar checked on their physical state, Cesar Sampaio had an evaluation of their adaptation to the new clubs, as they both joined respectively Tottenham and West Ham this summer.

Brazil’s final list for the World Cup will be out on Monday, and is very likely to have both names on it.
