It appears that the idea of Tottenham signing Mikkel Damsgaard from Sampdoria is one Club Doria 46 cannot get out of their head.
The website, focused on the Serie A side, have published another article about the player’s future at the club, making it clear there are a number of big sides after him, including Spurs.
Juventus are the ones named this time, and despite only scoring twice and assisting another four goals in 31 appearances, the young Dane is attracting a lot of attention.
It’s made clear from the off ‘there is no rush’ to sell Damsgaard, but it’s also stated that ‘with an adequate offer, he will be able to leave’.
They know any sale will be far greater than the €6.5m they got him for, making a transfer a ‘profitable capital gain’ for the Italians.
What is certain, however, is ‘Damsgaard will not leave Genoa for less than €20m’, and both Juventus and Tottenham, ‘the team that seem most in contention to start a negotiation, are warned’.
