For the past few weeks, claims from Turkey have stated Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey, Victor Nelsson and Kerem Aktürkoğlu have ended up on the radar of several clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur.
At the weekend, Milliyet stated a scout from the north London club would be in attendance for the derby clash between the Turkish champions and Beşiktaş.
Galatasaray sealed a 2-1 win Fotospor explain that Tottenham didn’t send their official to Istanbul despite confirming their plan to be present in the stadium.
An earlier claim from Turkey stated Spurs had made a reservation with Galatasaray to send four scouts to watch Boey, Nelsson and Aktürkoğlu when they face Bayern Munich on October 24th.
Fotospor now claim it isn’t clear if the the Premier League side’s scouts will be present for the Champions League tie later today.
It’s said Ange Postecoglou’s side ‘want’ Boey and are aware of his situation. With regards to the 23-year-old Frenchman, the report states he’s no longer a player to watch but a ‘player to act on’. This indicates Tottenham’s intention to make an effort to sign him.
Earlier this year, the right-back had talked about his dream to play in the Premier League and Spurs could help him fulfil that.
Boey, who has a contract lasting until 2025, and is also on the agenda of other Premier League sides. This is why Galatasaray seem to be working on extending his deal.
