On October 10th, Fotomaç reported Kerem Aktürkoğlu is being closely followed by Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou. Four days ago, Akşam stated Spurs have stepped in and initiated contact with Galatasaray to request a meeting.
Recent claims in the English press have stated Tottenham are one of the Premier League sides to have shown interest in the winger.
A fresh report from Akşam relays this, and they then provide updates on Spurs’ pursuit of the 24-year-old.
It’s said the north London club ‘want to add’ Aktürkoğlu to their squad and want to carry out the deal ‘without difficulty’.
Last month, Postecoglou’s side saw both Davinson Sánchez and Tanguy Ndombélé [on loan] join the Turkish champions.
These two deals have seen them build a relationship with the Istanbul club and the report says Tottenham would use it to their advantage to carry out an operation for Aktürkoğlu ‘without difficulty’.
On Thursday, Fotospor stated the Turkey international currently earns €300,000 per year and has rejected an improved offer of around €1m per year proposed by Galatasaray.
Aktürkoğlu’s deal lasts until 2026 and he’s scored five goals and registered seven assists from 16 games this season.
