Turkish TV Channel A Spor report Fenerbahce are trying to lower Tottenham Hotspur’s demands for Vincent Janssen.

The Dutch striker spent the last season on loan at Fenerbahce and the Turkish club are looking to loan him again for next season.

A Spor report Tottenham are currently asking for €6m for a season-long loan deal and Fenerbahce are only looking to offer €2m.

New Fenerbahce president Ali Y.Koc was critical of what the Turkish giants paid last season for the Tottenham man and it was expected he would go in with a lower offer this summer.

Last season Fenerbahce paid €5m for the loan, and the club’s new boss feels that was over the top.

The 24-year old struggled with injuries during his time at Fenerbahce and missed 4 months of action due to a foot injury, scoring just 4 goals in the time he was available. Despite all of that he managed to win fans thanks to his attitude and application.

Janssen is unlikely to stay at Tottenham and the recent appointment of Dutch coach Phillip Cocu could prove a factor in the Turkish club landing the Tottenham forward.
