Clinton N’Jie signed for Tottenham last summer, but after an injury prone season, it seems he is set for an early exit.
Marseille are reportedly in talks to sign N’Jie, and have agreed a loan deal with Tottenham with an option to buy the player for €7m, which can only be activated after the player features in a certain number of games.
There has been a slight delay in the deal, and that was because of interest from his former club Lyon.
On Saturday, according to L’Equipe, Marseille have finally agreed personal terms with the player, and a deal could be completed this weekend or early next week.
The Cameroon international is expected to travel to Marseille once he receives his visa.
Marseille, however, want to wrap up the formalities quickly, and will be sending a club doctor to London today to complete his medical examinations.
There were also reports suggesting Arsenal had made a last minute approach for N’Jie, but Tottenham blocked their move.
